As a public charter school, Ridgeline receives 20% less state and local funding than other Eugene neighborhood public schools. That means we receive funding for 4 out of every 5 students, leaving a $555,900 gap this year alone.
Yet, because of our community’s generosity and our school’s commitment to thoughtful spending, our fundraising goal is just $100,000—about $400 per student, or $33 per month.
These funds support:
Specialists like Art, PE
Montessori materials and programs
Facility maintenance and safety
Student wellness and enrichment activities

Sponsorships are vital in bridging the funding gap for Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School. Oregon charter schools receive only 80% of the state school funds allocated to neighborhood schools. This disparity means we rely on community support to provide the high-quality education our students deserve. By sponsoring a Ridgeline event, your organization is directly investing in the education of our students, helping us reach our annual fundraising goal of $100,000. Your generosity supports a public Montessori program, classroom materials, and opportunities that empower our students to thrive.
Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our tax ID number is 93-1296441.
