Enrollment Dates and Procedures
The enrollment lottery is held yearly for students in grades K–8.
Incoming kindergartners must be 5 years old by September 1.
Applications for the 2022-23 school year are available now.
Ridgeline will not limit student admission based on ethnicity, national origin, race, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, residence, health, income level, proficiency in English language, or athletic ability, except as authorized under Oregon Revised Statute ORS 338.125(3)(d).
2022–2023 school year lottery and enrollment timeline
The lottery application deadline for the 2022-2023 school year passed on February 25, 2022, 11:59 p.m. Any applications received after that date will be added to the waitlist in the order they are received.
The lottery was run on March 3, 2022. Once families receive an email of an offered seat they will be given 72 hours (not including the weekend) to accept or decline their seat. Families will be sent emails with their placement on the waitlist. They can also use their application link to check on their status at any time.
Ridgeline's Lottery is independent of 4J's school of choice lottery. The application process and deadlines are separate.
If your Ridgeline student has a sibling that you would like to attend Ridgeline, a completed 2022-2023 lottery application was due February 25, 2022, 11:59 p.m. You can still be added to the waitlist at any time.
Intent to return forms for the 2023-24 school year will be available in March.
2023-2024 school year lottery and enrollment timeline
An online lottery application will be available for the 2023-2024 school year and will be available on this page in early January 2023.
The waitlist does not carry over from school year to school year and will need to be completed each year that you would like to be entered in the lottery.
All applicants receive electronic confirmation of their completed application and electronic notification of the waitlist position.
