Lower Elementary Classroom Assistant

Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School seeks a lower elementary classroom assistant (grades 1-3) to join our passionate and experienced staff. The assistant is an integral part of the classroom’s instructional team. This position is full-time (7 hours per day) for one of our three established mixed-age lower elementary classrooms.

The classroom assistant works under the direct supervision of the assigned classroom teacher and general supervision of school administrators. The primary role of the assistant is to collaboratively supervise and support students and help maintain a positive climate.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Experience working with children in grades 1-3
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Montessori setting
  • Specialized subject-matter training relevant to assignment is desirable
  • Successful work on a team that serves the public
Salary: $13.64 - $14.47 depending upon experience plus benefits
