RCO News - One last restaurant night!  Mazzi’s Italian Restaurant will host our last restaurant night for this school year.  Come connect with friends, new and old, for a delicious family meal.  Monday, June 12, 5pm - 9pm.  3377 East Amazon Drive.  Mazzi’s is generously donating 30% of the proceeds from your meal.  This includes take out orders and alcohol!  Fliers will go home with kids so dig through those backpacks.  Fliers will also be available in the office.

Please join us for the last RCO meeting for the school year, next Tuesday, June 6th at 6pm.  Childcare is provided with sign up in the office prior to the meeting.  We will approve RCO’s plan for fundraising events next school year.

Record Your Hours – Please remember to record all your volunteer hours for the 2016-17 school year before you head off to summer vacation! We want to know about ALL your hours, even those beyond 40 hours. Thank you all for your time; we would not be the amazing community we are without all your help!

G.A.Y.L.E. - Ridgeline is founding a Gender and Attraction Youth League for Equity! GAYLE is being created upon student request, and will ultimately be run by students. The goal of this intersectional space is to support age-appropriate discussion around gender and attraction, and allow GAYLE members to share their lived experiences in order to learn more about themselves and their peers.

 - Any student who is at least 11 years of age and is interested in supporting themselves and their peers around the two aforementioned issues is welcome to join.

 - Students must return signed permission slips to the office before attending any of the meetings, and are welcome to join the league at any point. Permission slips are available at the office.

June 14th from 3:15 to 4:00 p.m. is our final meeting for the 2016/2017 school year! We would enjoy any donations of rainbow colored snacks, and hope to see some new faces that plan on returning in September.

Middle School Assistant Maizzy Phayt will continue to facilitate the meetings on Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:00 p.m. in the 2017/2018 school year.

Watermelons – 9 watermelons needed for Field Day. Email Cynthia if you can donate a watermelon for field day. Watermelons need to be dropped off on Wednesday, June 14 in the morning (or the night before at the end of year picnic). Please keep your watermelon refrigerated if you purchase it early as sometimes we end up throwing out rotten melons.

Rummage Sale Donations – Take advantage of the upcoming weekend and clean out your closets, garage, etc. We are excited to receive the items you no longer need.

Please hold on to unwanted items for donation; drop off your items Friday, June 9th at the Ridgeline gym between 8:40-11:00am and 1:15-7:00pm.

Only 10 days of school left and we have A LOT on the calendar. There are still many opportunities to get your volunteer hours in! Please read all the items below and email Cynthia to volunteer!

The Shed – Another BIG project in the queue is a deep cleaning and purging of THE SHED. If you have been out to the shed you know what we are talking about! We are looking for a team of enthusiastic individuals, hopefully some folks with trucks, to help haul away items and then organize what remains. This project is scheduled to happen the week after school gets out, June 19-23rd. Contact Cynthia to volunteer.
