Crossing Guards Still Needed - Help keep our kids safe!

Monday - morning & afternoon

Friday - morning & afternoon

Thursday - afternoon

Sign up here to volunteer.

Lottery Information Session Childcare Volunteers - We need 3 volunteers to help staff with childcare for the lottery information sessions. Volunteers need to have green badges. To volunteer sign up here.

Marketplace Update - Thank you to everyone who participated in last weekend’s Marketplace event. The students did a fabulous job creating crafts to sell. A special thank you to Heather Hickcox for all her hard work putting this event together and thank you to all of the adult volunteers who helped make it possible. This event raised over $1,000 for Ridgeline!  We are so grateful for their generosity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Traveling for the Holidays? - The last day of school before winter break is December 20. We expect that all students will be in attendance until 1:05 p.m. that day. If your family will be travelling and missing school during that week in December, or in January when we return, please remember to fill out the Planned Absence Request Form

Lottery Posters - Lottery season is just around the corner! Help us promote Ridgeline to the broader Eugene community by hanging lottery posters. Posters and a hanging location list are available at the office.

Ridgeline Holiday Tree Fundraiser – 43111 McKenzie Hwy., Leaburg, 541-896-3483. Purchase your holiday tree at Spring Creek Holly Farm and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Ridgeline! Tell them at the farm when you purchase your tree that you would like to donate to Ridgeline. Anyone can participate. Tell friends, family, and co-workers. Noble Firs are locally grown at Spring Creek Holly Farm and at their wholesale facility, Whitewater Ranch, using low-impact and sustainable farming practices. They have pre-cut trees, or you can choose and cut your own. They also offer handmade holly wreaths, table decorations and bulk greens. Start a new holiday tradition, take a drive down the beautiful McKenzie Highway, enjoy a cup of hot apple cider, and support Ridgeline! Spring Creek Holly Farm is open until December 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week.

Sewing Project-  We need a volunteer to measure the bookcases in the loft, and hem curtains to fit the length of each bookcase.  If you are interested in this project, please contact Yaeko

Let’s Talk about the Queue Folks! - If you are using the pick up line, please do not line up on W. Amazon and block traffic. If the line extends beyond the corner of Rose Way (the no-name street) and W. Amazon, please circle around at Snell and try again, or park and walk to pick up your student. It is not legal (or safe) to block a travel lane on the roadway. The LTD bus and cars are not able to travel down the street when parents insist on queuing in the road.

Winter Weather: Snow Day Information

In the case of inclement weather that would make roads, school parking lots, driveways or sidewalks unsafe for travel, Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School will be closed when the 4J school district is closed. If Ridgeline is scheduled to be in session, and no announcement is made, school is still in schedule as planned.

Ridgeline Montessori will delay opening when 4J schools are scheduled to open on a delayed schedule.

Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School may be in session on a day when 4J happens to be already out of session. In this case, Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School will make the announcement on our website,

Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School values safety. Neither 4J nor Ridgeline can make a decision based on conditions near individual families or staff. Families and staff are encouraged to consider road and sidewalk conditions in their areas and make decisions based on safety. Ridgeline Montessori honors parents’ decisions about school attendance in these conditions. Staff members should contact the school and exercise leave options available to them when they believe they are unable to get to work safely.

Snow day notifications: Our school district communicates any decision to change school or bus schedules as quickly as possible in several ways, all well before 6:30 a.m.

No news = No change. If schools and buses are on their regular schedule, there will NOT be an announcement.

School Closure = No school for students. Decision about afternoon/evening activities will be made by noon.

Two-Hour Delay: School starts two hours late and ends at the usual school dismissal time. If a delay occurs on an early release Friday, school will still be dismissed at the early release time.
