Stone Soup

Our big all school community event in November is the annual Stone Soup feast which takes place this Wednesday, November 21st (the day before Thanksgiving). Students are asked to bring vegetables (no mushrooms due to allergy) on Tuesday November 20th and they will slice them in the classrooms that day. On the 21st volunteers will make vegetable soup for the entire Ridgeline community to enjoy in the gymnasium.

Human Growth and Development

All Upper Elementary students will be offered Human Growth and Development education through Planned Parenthood on the mornings of December 3, 4, and 5. Students will be presented age appropriate material on human anatomy, what a pregnancy looks like, and HIV/AIDS. On the evening of Nov. 27, from 5:00 to 6:00, Planned Parenthood will give a parent preview. Please let us know by Nov. 26 if you plan to attend the information session. You can contact me via e-mail, or by calling the school. We need a minimum of 5 parents to RSVP in order to hold the preview.

Thank you,
