NO SCHOOL: professional development day

We are deepening our investigations into the relationships between force, mass, and acceleration.  We wrap up this week with our Unit 3, Chapter 1 Review, and Quiz.

Key Questions from this week’s investigations are:

  • How do multiple forces affect motion?

  • What effect does a force have on a moving object when the force is not along the objects path?

  • If a force acts on an object, how does its change in motion depend on the strength of the force?

Your students are working on using situations, tables, and rules for graphing linear equations.  There are many paths to solving these problems.   Students who are asking questions and engaging, are showing great progress in expanding their fluency with these tools.

Thank you for supporting your students in developing one of the greatest of strengths, showing up.
