Dear Middle School Family,

It was great seeing many of you at the "Ridgeline Rising" event at SouthTowne Shoppes last weekend.  What fun!  What success!  We raised nearly $8000! Way to go, team!  I've heard rumors that our Pirate's chest went for over $200!  Thanks for all your support.  New home, here we come!

(Sorry about all those exclamation points. These are exciting times!)

Conferences are next week from 8am-4pm Monday, and 12-7:30 Tuesday.  Please call (541-681-9662) or stop by the office to sign up ASAP.

It is extremely important that every family participate. I can't emphasize this enough.  We need to show your student that we're in this together.

Here is what your student is preparing to share and discuss with us:

1. Samples of your Best Work.
Pick 3 or 4 assignments that demonstrate your best efforts so far this year, work you’re proud of.

2. What is going well? Use the examples of your best work to explain what’s going well for you in class.  You are studying four distinct subjects: Math, Physical Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.  What’s working for you?

3. What’s not going so well? What are you struggling with?  What do you need more support with?  What do you wish you were doing instead of what we’re doing in class?

4. What are your Grade Goals?  What are your grades right now?  What do you want your grades to be?  What’s it going to take to meet your goals?

5. What can we do to support you?

Have a fantastic weekend!
Jon and Carrie
