Night at the EM’s

Dear Middle School Families,

This has been a rough week for Ridgeline Staff and Families.  The supportive and connected culture that we have created and continue to create together here at Ridgeline is a great gift that we all simultaneously give and receive.  Our students thrive in this environment.  I see proof every day in our amazing middle school students.  It is a joy to come to school every day and work, laugh, and face challenges with your students.  I embrace the poignant paradox, and embrace the people in my life fully, as I continue to walk around with a full and breaking heart.

Life Science

We are plotting our Plant Growth as an indicator of water quality experimental data this week, and comparing it to results from the same experiment conducted by Ridgeline Students two years ago.  In order to better compare and analyze our results, we created scatter plots of the data from both experiments.  To create our graphs, we found the highest and lowest values in the data sets, created a reasonable and consistent scale to best illustrate the information, and plotted our points.   If we decided the data is correlated, we then found the line of best fit.   After comparing and discussing our results, we will write our data analyses and conclusions.

With Highest Regard,

Carrie and Taylor
