It was good to see you all at the parent meeting. Thank you for taking the time out of your evening. Be sure to log your attendance as volunteer hours.

Our Shape and Say story is “Sammy the Slider,” focusing on the letter “s” and its sound.

“Nobody Likes Me” is our CIK story that teaches how to initiate social interaction.

New works for practical life are tweezing, play dough, cooking muffins and sewing. The children are learning to thread a needle and sew buttons onto a strip of felt to make a bracelet.

Opposites, rhyming, and sequencing are open on the language shelves. Sound sorting with the object boxes is too.

Math materials are making patterns, knot counting, and the Montessori bead stair.

We have begun learning our end of the week song, “I Think You’re Wonderful,” as well as the Aileen Fisher poem, “I Like Fall.”

Science lessons included the land and water globe, “Land, Air, and Water,” and the birthday calendar.

All students will have their vision screened this Friday. If your child wears glasses please be sure s/he brings a pair that day.
