The jog-a-thon was a highlight for students and teachers alike. The weather couldn't have been better. The kids were real running machines. Thanks for your participation by attending or helping your child collect donations for the school. Pledge money is due this week.

The children are enjoying eating on the patio on sunny days. A new patio work is writing letters in shaving cream and watering the fava beans.

We are celebrating Jan Peck week. We will read one of her books each day and call her on Friday to sing happy birthday.

Our CIK story is “I Feel Good Inside,” recognizing personal growth.

We have finished the arithmetic part of the district testing and will be taking the reading parts this week. Results would be included in the last progress report.

Monday, June 4th, ALL DAY 50% of your non-beverage food items purchased at Papa’s Pizza on West 11th and Chambers will go directly to the Capital Campaign! join the entire school there for dinner or take out that night, 50% goes to the Capital Campaign! All you need is the flyer and an appetite (or a hungry group) and our new school fund will get 50% of the cost of your food ALL DAY on June 4! We are extending our annual end-of -the-year beach party from a one day event to an all week celebration the last days of the school year. If you can lend our class a kiddie pool let us know. The children will need to wear swimsuits under their clothes and bring a towel that week.
