Kindergarten Weekly Update 12-21-12

The snow was exciting. We made snow pictures and stories. Another art project was printing, using leaves, sticks, nutshells, and other natural “stamps.”

We have read The Nutcracker Ballet and will act it out on our second reading, donning makeshift costumes and props and taking turns with the different roles.

Another project is decorating a gingerbread village. We will gift these whimsical structures to some Ridgeline community helpers.

Our Shape and Say story is “A Drippy Day for Daphne.”

Please help spread the “Joy of Sharing” by donating food and toiletries to help Ridgeline families over the winter break. Donations will be accepted through this week. The donations will be placed in baskets and distributed to families on Friday, December 21.

Would anyone want to sit Boris, our adorable pet tarantula over the winter break?

We hope you all enjoy the break. We will see you in 2013 on Tuesday, January 8.

Happy New Year!
