There is a lot of zoology happening in Room 2 including incubating chicken eggs and learning about their life cycle, watching frogs develop through their stages and the worms continue to eat food scraps and make soil.

The peas, carrots and radishes that the children planted are coming up.

The wheel and axle is the focus of our science groups.

Smoothies were a hit in cooking.

The children enjoyed experimenting to see which method of popping popcorn is more effective—air or oil.

We have had many lessons in preparation for the research projects—a lesson for each step including a drawing lesson.

Current rhymes: “Song of the Popcorn” and “The Chicks.”

It is time to apply sunscreen before school and sun hats would be helpful in protecting tender ears and faces.

Save the Date: Kindergarten Music Program, Tuesday, May 24 at 6:30 in the school gym. The children will perform some of their favorite songs from class this year.
