Testing and Work Schedules

Alongside state testing, we are continuing math and language lessons and starting on portfolio work until the end of next week.  Afterwards, we will be focusing on finishing portfolios and finishing up state testing.  Many students will also be doing the EasyCBM testing.  The remainder of the school year will be a mix of art, special activities, some regular classwork, and engineering challenges.

All packets from the Jog-a-thon are due by Friday, June 2nd.  Please help your student to remember to collect all pledges and return the packet as soon as possible.

Reading and PJ Day

We will be having a Reading and PJ Day on Friday, May 26th.  Students may bring in one pillow and one blanket and wear school-appropriate pajamas.  Students may also bring a healthy snack to share with the rest of the class.

End-of-Year Picnic & Celebration

We will be celebrating two major Ridgeline successes at the picnic this year: the successful completion of the capital campaign, and paying off the seller’s note! Part of our celebration will include the burying of a time capsule! As a classroom, we will be brainstorming on what we might include as our contribution  to the time capsule (it should be something about the size of a deck of cards).

Save Boxes & Lids!

Please send in clean, reusable boxes and lids.  We will be doing a major reorganization of  the supply room and storage areas over the summer, so everything helps.
