Bring T Shirts for Screen Printing Monday
We will be screen printing T shirts with Sheryl LeBlanc on Monday. Make sure that your child brings a cotton T shirt or tank top, preferably light colored, to school. Shirts that are already printed on one side are fine.

Third graders (and many younger students) have been writing biographies of peacemakers and other inspiring people from history. This week we’ll be working on final drafts, and next week students will present their projects to the class.

Seeds on the Move
We have been planting seeds and dissecting seeds to see their parts. Now we are learning about the ways that seeds get from place to place – wind, water, animals and humans, and even self-propelled exploding seed missiles! Feel free to send in any fun seed examples that you run across in your yard, grocery store or neighborhood.

Party in the Park
During the last week of school we will be making two visits to our local parks. On Wednesday, June 11 we will walk to the south end of West Amazon for a picnic lunch, seed hunt, and recess in the park, from about 11:30 to 1:30. On Friday, June 13 we will picnic, play and eat popsicles at Tugman Park from about 10:00 to 12:30. We are welcoming volunteers for both outings. We are also soliciting popsicle donations for our last day of school celebration.

Sunscreen and Water Bottle Reminder
Please help keep your kiddos hydrated and sun protected during these warm sunny days.

No Homework
Homework is done for the year! Please return homework folders so that they can be reused.
