Friday Reminders

Please bring in homework projects to display tomorrow.

Remember to return permission slips for the Hult Center field trip on Tuesday.

We are doing a Valentine exchange.  Bringing Valentines is optional, but if your child participates, make sure to bring enough for everyone (28 cards).

Monday is no school for President’s Day.

Indoor Shoes and Placemats

Please help us keep our classroom clean!  Double check that your child has indoor shoes during this muddy season.  Also, children have noticed that placemats make lunch cleanup much more successful.  Please include a cloth placemat or dish towel in your child’s lunchbox.

Egypt Day

Egypt Day was awesome!  We built shadufs (simple water lifting machines used in Egypt), made necklace collars, and admired each others’ beautiful costumes.  Most kids silkscreened T-shirts.  These are drying overnight.  The rest of the students will do their silkscreening tomorrow.  Thanks to everyone who brought an extra shirt to share!  Thanks also to Sheryl LeBlanc for spearheading this project.
