Homework Due Friday
Several homework projects have already come in and they look fantastic! Please make sure to return homework projects by Friday. We will be displaying projects on Friday morning. Several groups of upper elementary alumni will be coming to view the projects and talk to the students about their work.

Please also remember to return your child’s nylon homework folder. We will fill it with new assignments and send it home Friday.

Halloween Reminder
Save costumes, candy and makeup for after school on October 31, please!

Laughing Planet Fundraiser November 5
Ridgeline earns a generous percentage of sales on November 5th, from the 29th and Willamette location only. Be wise and call in your order ahead of time – this is a popular and tasty fundraiser.

Conferences November 7 and 10
Make sure to sign up for a conference time. The sign up sheet is in the foyer, or you can call the front office and ask them to put down your name. These are family conferences, so children are invited to participate.

No School Days – November 7, 10, and 11 (Veteran’s Day)

Grandperson’s Day November 14
Is there a “significant elder” in your child’s life? Please let them know about Grandperson’s Day. They can hear a presentation about Montessori education and then enjoy lunch in their student’s classroom. Children will also be able to demonstrate some of their works. Keep an eye out for the invitations that will be sent home soon.

Barnes and Noble Book Fair November 14

Next week children will be selecting and memorizing poems to recite at the book fair. Make plans to come watch their performance!

OBOB Volunteers Needed
We had a huge turnout of kids wanting to do OBOB this year. Now we are seeking additional volunteers to help facilitate. Please contact Cynthia if you would like to talk about books with some motivated young readers.
