Dear Parents,

The two-week Winter Break is almost here.  I hope this time is restful, relaxing, and full of quality time with family and friends.

New Work Plan Format

I am interested in hearing feedback about the new work plan, as well as insights into how the new information is helping facilitate conversations between you and your child about what is being learned in class.

The work completion record that I print out at the end of each two week work period is intended to be a verification of the detailed work plan your child completed for the same work period.  After comparing the two documents, I encourage you to have an in-depth conversation about the specific works that were completed, as well as helping your child devise a plan to complete those works still missing or incomplete.

Joy of Sharing – Food Drive

Our annual food drive, the Joy of Sharing, ends on December 18. Please bring non-perishable donations to school during this week. In addition to food, other items such as toilet paper and personal hygiene items are welcome.  With the donated items, we will create and distribute food baskets to Ridgeline families in need, to help them over winter break.
