Clint's Weekly Update 10-19-13

Reminder: Every Friday your child is asked to take home their weekly work plan to show you. These work plans are an important communication tool and allows you to see what was completed or not completed in class each week. Please remember to sign the bottom and have your child return it to us on Monday morning. (This week only 13 out of 28 were returned! That’s about a 46% return rate.)

A big thank you to Salmon with Eugene Parks and Recreation (and Ridgeline parent) for starting the bike safety training with the kids this week. On Monday, October 21 there will be a whole class ride around the neighborhood. If you have a bike in good working order and a helmet, please come join us at 1:00. Be sure to sign in at the office.

All four parents that have signed up to offer Creative Expressions* classes are all from this class! Thank you so much for your generosity and availability! But to make this work we still need a few more volunteers. The program is set to begin on October 25 and every Friday we have school until December 20. It runs from 12 noon until 1pm. Please contact Melissa Palma at for more information about helping out with the amazing opportunity. (*Creative Expressions is really an amazing elective program that offers unique and engaging special classes for small groups of students.)

Thank you to those of you able to attend our Curriculum Sharing Night on Thursday. It is amazing to see the students walking you through their daily routine.
