TEACHER APPRECIATION: It's so nice to be appreciated! Thank you for your wonderful cards, gifts, flowers, gift cards, cookies and other goodies. Kristin, Yang Yang & I especially like our decorative, door-sized poster! :-) If you haven’t seen it, take a look next time you're at school. It's beautiful! We are very grateful for the support of our Ridgeline community.

Calling all summer birthdays! I’d like students with summer birthdays to have an opportunity to celebrate with their class. Please contact me and we’ll plan a time when your student’s special day can be shared. The children so enjoy seeing photos and hearing stories about their classmate’s early years. To schedule your student’s ‘walk around the sun’, send me an e-mail or a note to the classroom.

MAY IS BIKE & WALK TO SCHOOL MONTH – Please encourage your student to walk, bike, or use another non-motor powered means of transportation. Even walking a few blocks counts for those traveling a long distance. Students will ‘record’ their mode of transportation daily.

CONFERENCES: No conferences are scheduled for the end of the year but if you’d like to get together to discuss your student’s progress and goals, just let me know. Email, send a note or call the office (541-681-9662)

News from Azusa! - Hello from Doernbecher. Satsuki's third cycle of treatment started today. We enjoyed 2 weeks of break very much. Satsuki was able to spend a lot of time with her buddies including getting dressed for prom and the photo shoot. She continues to maintain a great spirit and positive attitude. We get so many compliments from the doctors and nurses. During last cycle my mom was able to visit from Japan and she was so impressed by the whole thing and went home feeling assured about Satsuki's recovery. Thank you again for all the support Ridgeline has been giving us. You are giving me so much strength to go through this bump in our life.

Thanks for sharing your joyful children!
