**CROWD-FUNDING CAMPAIGN: Get ready to share your love of Ridgeline far and wide. From June 1st thru July 4th, Ridgeline will hold an online crowdfunding campaign on YouCaring.com.
Individuals, families, staff, board and many others will be sharing their love of Ridgeline online and via email with a link to the YouCaring Campaign to support public Montessori now and forever! Send your story to Cheryle.firstname.lastname@example.org to be put on the “schedule” to share. If you are not comfortable sharing your story you can share other postings with your friends and family. Hopefully they will share it again and again and DONATE!
Please share your stories or thoughts. Just 3 - 4 sentences. That's it! Here are a few ideas:
· Why did you choose Ridgeline?
· What makes Ridgeline unique?
· What does Ridgeline mean to your family or for your child?
· How does a mixed-age class benefit students?
· Why is Montessori good for kids?
Questions? Please email Cheryl Myers (Sierra’s mom) at Cheryle.email@example.com or call the school office (541) 681-9662. Thanks.
ART WITH HELEN LIU: The children enjoy creating art with Helen. This week they created calligraphy scrolls using special ink and brushes. These scrolls are used for holidays and celebrations. Next week we’ll try making jump ropes using braided “plarn”. Keep sending in your plastic bags, especially those made with heavier plastic like mailing envelopes.
EMERALDS GAME: Ridgeline is the Non-Profit of the Night at the Eugene Emeralds game on June 25. A flier was sent home advertising this event that included a ticket order form. Tickets may be purchased through Ridgeline May 6 – 26. The kindergartners and T.R.U.E. will perform!
RAINFOREST DIORAMAS: The students are creating wonderful mini-habitats that demonstrate their knowledge of rainforest flora and fauna. Every diorama is unique and reflects your child’s response to this assigned project. The completed dioramas will be on display next week. Stop by and take a look when you have time.
