*SHARING: May 16- Your Choice, May 23- A poem

CROWD-FUNDING CAMPAIGN: In June, Ridgeline will hold a crowdfunding campaign on YouCaring.com. We need several more parents and staff who love Ridgeline to share their stories or thoughts. Just 3 - 4 sentences. That's it! Here are a few ideas:
· Why did you choose Ridgeline?
· What makes Ridgeline unique?
· What does Ridgeline mean to your family or for your child?
· How does a mixed-age class benefit students?
· Why is Montessori good for kids?

PLEASE - Reply and tell us what Ridgeline means to you. Email Chrystell.reed@ridgeline.org

TEACHER APPRECIATION:
It's so nice to be appreciated! Thank you for your cards, gifts, cookies and other goodies. The luncheon on Friday was incredible! Azusa and I especially like our beautiful door poster! If you haven't yet seen it, take a look next time you're in the school lobby. It's awesome!

CONFERENCE: No conferences are scheduled for the end of the year but if you’d like to get together to discuss your student’s progress and goals, just let me know. Email, send a note or call the office (541-681-9662)

PLARN: PLEASE SEND CLEAN, PLASTIC BAGS…

Repurposing plastic bags to create beautiful art helps keep the bags out of the landfills. We especially need small, colored plastic bags (ex: bags from bread, produce, newspapers, etc.). We also need yarn as the children are learning to crochet!

EMERALDS GAME:
Ridgeline is the Non-Profit of the Night at the Eugene Emeralds game on June 25. A flier was sent home advertising this event that included a ticket order form. Tickets may be purchased through Ridgeline May 6 – 26. The kindergartners and T.R.U.E. will perform!

*CHESS SETS AVAILABLE: Our Chess Club leader, Brian Schartz, has chess sets available for sale at a great price since he gets free shipping and a discount for bulk purchases. If you would like to buy a Chess set for home ($13.45 for the pieces, roll up board and carrying bag), please contact Brian at: bcschartz@gmail.com
