PROJECT FAIR: There’s still time for your student to research a topic of their choice and create a visual display to share information for the Project Fair. This year’s Project Fair is planned for next Tuesday, March 11. Families can come and enjoy the projects right after school at 3:15-4:15 or later in the evening from 6:00-7:00. If you need more information or a cardboard display board ($3 from office), let me know. See you there!

100TH DAY OF SCHOOL: Thursday, Mar. 13 is the 100th day of school this year. To celebrate the occasion, children can bring 100 small objects. These 100 items will be glued onto a 100 square paper grid and displayed. In past years children have brought beans, popcorn and other seeds, pennies, cotton balls, macaroni, stickers, etc. Use your imagination! We will write, count, add, subtract, divide and multiply 100!
Please help (if necessary) your child count 100 objects, put in a container or bag and send to school next Tuesday or Wednesday. If you have questions, let us know.

PAJAMA DAY: Friday, March 21, is Pajama Day! Children are invited to wear pajamas, slippers, and robes and to bring one small, lap-sized, stuffed animal to school. We plan to read and write stories, complete research and watch a short movie. We’ll have popcorn during the movie or rice cakes for students that wear braces. Please be sure your child’s pajamas are warm enough and appropriate for school.

A MESSAGE FROM CHRYSTELL REED, RIDGELINE’S ADMINISTRATOR:
Daylight Saving – On March 9th it’s time to move the clocks forward one hour. Adjusting to the new time can be difficult and result in tardiness on Monday morning. Here are some tips to help your child adjust to the new time:
•      Don’t let the late onset of darkness disrupt your child’s sleep schedule.
•      Allow for extra downtime before bedtime.
•      An hour before bedtime, dim the lights and turn off all electronics.
•      Give yourself extra time on Monday to get ready and make it to school before 8:40am.

SHARING THEME: Week of 3/3: Something < 5 pounds Week of 3/10: Something made from wool

HOMEWORK: Please return homework packets Friday morning.
