HOLIDAY TRADITIONS:
We would love to hear about a special holiday tradition your family enjoys. If you are able to come in and share the story of a tradition, please let me know and we will schedule a time. Otherwise, your student can tell the class. A holiday item such as a menorah, an ornament, a card or a book can also be shared. Questions? Send a note, call the office (541.681.9662) or send me an emailcheri.spies@ridgeline.org

STUDENT MARKETPLACE:
Last Saturday our students sold their fabulous creative items and donated a portion of their profits to Ridgeline! Thank you!

LuLaRoe: On Saturday, December 9, 11:00am-1:00pm, local LuLaRoe consultants will bring their inventories to the Ridgeline gym for a fundraising event to benefit Ridgeline Montessori. There will be over 4,000 pieces of inventory available to shop from, so proceeds to Ridgeline could be substantial. Get those holiday shopping gift lists, and head on down to the gym on the Dec. 9th. You don't want to miss this!

JOY OF SHARING BASKETS:
Our annual food drive, Joy of Sharing, is scheduled for the week of December 11-15. Students are encouraged to bring non-perishable donations to school. In addition to food, other items such as toilet paper and personal hygiene items are welcome. With the donated items, we will create and distribute food baskets to Ridgeline families in need, to help them over winter break.

STUDENT TALENT SHOW:
The students heard all about this upcoming event today from classroom parent, Kate Downing (Eden’s mom), and they were very excited about the possibilities! If you have questions or would like to volunteer for the Talent Show please contact Kate:wobblykate@hotmail.com

ASTRONOMY & GEOLOGY:
During December, January and February we’ll focus on galaxies, stars and our own solar system. We’ll also study about volcanoes, types of rocks, fossils, and landforms. If you have books or items that support this learning please consider sharing.

Attendance: Thank you for letting us know when your student is ill or will be out for an appointment. You can email cheri.spies@ridgeline.org andattendance@ridgeline.org or call the office 541.681.9662
