RETURN HOMEWORK PACKETS: Please return homework packets this Friday, Dec. 5.

NUTCRACKER: The Nutcracker ballet performance is this Thursday! Please send a $1.00 donation with your student.

STONE SOUP: The soup was delicious (as usual), thanks to our talented parent volunteer cooks. Eating together in the classroom with students and parents felt festive and more peaceful than sitting in the gym with the entire student body! The children REALLY enjoyed watching the hula-hoop and juggling performance during our pre-soup assembly! Thanks for your food donations and your support.

WINTER HOLIDAYS: We’ll spend the rest of December and January discussing holidays around the world. We’ll especially focus on Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Chinese New Year, Los Posadas, Christmas and New Year’s Eve! I’m hoping students will share a one of their family’s holiday traditions with their classmates. If you have books or objects that support our studies please consider sharing.
