VETERAN’S DAY: No school Wednesday, November 11, in honor of Veteran’s Day
BOOK FAIR AT BARNES & NOBLE, FFIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 6:00-8:00PM: This annual event is fast approaching. Every year we set up a bookmark table at the bookstore and this year students from our class will present Peace Poems. Presentations begin at 6:00 pm and our class is scheduled for 6:50pm. Will you let Azusa or me know if your student will be able to attend the book fair this year? Questions? Email, send a note, or call the office (541-681-9662)
PARENT-STUDENT CONFERENCES: Thank you for taking the time to meet with me. Your students are all delightful individuals with their own unique gifts. I enjoyed sharing their progress and goals for the school year. If you weren’t able to come in for a conference, please email, send a note or call (541-681-9662) and we’ll schedule a time to get together.
XTRA MATH: Many of Ridgeline’s students use this free online program to practice math facts. Many of our students add it to their work plans and use the computers at school. Students have a unique PIN that tracks progress. If you are interested in letting your student use x-tra math at home let us know, and we’ll send you the PIN. The address is https://xtramath.org. Enjoy!
INTERNATIONAL DAY: What an amazing day we had, filled with country research, flag making, presentations and delicious international snacks! Our snacks included onigiri (Japan), nori-seaweed (Korean), corn tortilla chips (Mexico), and Feta cheese with Pita bread and honey (Greece). Students researched 25 different countries and all continents (except Antarctica) were represented! We learned so much! Thank you all for helping to make this year’s International Day a success.
Thanks, Cheri and Azusa
