Welcome to Week Ten of home learning June 1-5

This is our last full week of home learning. This week families of students moving up a level should check their email on Wednesday, June 3, to learn the classroom to which students have been assigned. During our zoom meeting on Thursday, June 4, teachers will announce all moving up student placements. At the end of our meeting, Upper Elementary teachers will join us to introduce themselves and to answer questions.

Last day of school for students this year is Wednesday, June 10. Moving up students will attend a special zoom meeting with their new teachers on Monday, June 7. If you have questions, feel free to email me cheri.spies@ridgeline.org

Next week, Amelia will teach calligraphy at 9:45 Tuesday and Thursday. If your student would like to join the fun, enter our regular meeting early. Be sure to have lined paper and a pencil.

STUDENT SHARING:
Monday-Gr. 3, Tuesday-Gr. 2, Wednesday -Gr.1

Thursday is head covering day! This includes hats, scarfs, helmets, caps, etc. Students are welcome to come wearing a head covering on Thursday!

Remember:

We strongly suggest students take a break for physical activity after 20 min of focused, quiet work.

Outdoor activities done with family are the best! We encourage parents and students to use their imaginations & creativity to integrate Language Arts, Math and Cultural (science/social science/arts) learning while enjoying time together.

We miss you all and can’t wait to be together again, as a classroom and as a school community.

Take care and stay safe❣️

Cheri and Azusa
