STUDENT MARKETPLACE DECEMBER 8! - Please join us between 10am-1pm and invite your friends and families!  This was such a fabulous event last year!  I can’t wait to see the creative items our students have made and support their entrepreneurial and fundraising efforts!

ALL SCHOOL SING-A-LONG: Our Middle School class invited us to an all school Sing-a-long on Friday, Dec. 21. A group of students has been coming to our classroom to practice the songs we will sing. They play their ukuleles! Our kids so enjoy spending time with these older students.

JOY OF SHARING: Help us take care of Ridgeline families over winter break! Our annual food drive, the Joy of Sharing begins December 17 and runs through December 21. Please bring non-perishable donations to school during this week. In addition to food, other items such as toilet paper and personal hygiene items are welcome.  With the donated items, we will create and distribute food baskets to Ridgeline families in need, to help them over winter break.

GEOGRAPHYThe students are studying about Australia; it’s animals, landmarks,  biomes art. This week, thanks to Classroom parent, Robyn Suzumura (Kai’s Mom), the class will view and create Aboriginal art. Today we learned that Aboriginal cave art used special symbols to communicate with others. Ask your student to describe/demonstrate dot art.

CHINESE LANGUAGE & CULTURE: Mei has been busy sharing paper folding techniques and counting words with the students. She also is so helpful during our daily activities, especially PE.

Thanks for sharing your amazing children
