New State Testing Parent Meeting – Mark your calendars and plan to attend an IMPORTANT parent meeting. There are big changes to state testing (grades 3-8) this year and we want to make sure you are informed as a parent. The meeting will take place Thursday March 19th, at 6:30pm.
The Great Barrier Reef is so very cool that most of our cultural and writing work was based upon it. Our reef artwork is looking very nice and I enjoyed seeing all the budding artists and their creative interpretations of a colorful reef. We will be working on it some more next week. We also learned about electricity, how it works and the important role it has in our lives. Finally, we discovered the secret world of plants is pretty darn interesting. It turns out that animals aren’t the only life forms that like to communicate!
Next week and beyond…
Next week we will look at the political boundaries of Australia and do some map work related to that. We will also continue our reef artwork by adding animal life to our reef scene. We will close out our shortened week by looking at the important people related to our current use of electricity. Get it? Our CURRENT use…Haha!
