This week
This week we had our Project Fair throughout the school. The students said they really enjoyed it and it was good to see so many parents walking through the classrooms admiring the work of the participants. I appreciate the effort that went into the latest round of presentation boards. They really add a lot to our class environment.

We learned about India and China this week, and how these two emerging powers compete in the global resource market. They are two very unique nations and approaching the world market very differently. We also discussed erosion, because we can see the effects of it on our playground, and everywhere else.

Next week
The Mongols are coming next week. They promised to be nice, but you never can tell with Mongols. We will also look at chemical mixtures and suspensions. It sounds scary, but isn’t.

Our next presentations will be April 8th through the 10th. Schedule attached.

I talked to the folks at Taste of India about coming for lunch and they were very excited about the prospect. An early lunch is not possible, but a later lunch is. I will plan a field trip

on April the 2nd (Wednesday) at 1pm. We can have a big snack or light lunch and then have a proper lunch once we arrive. Their schedule won’t allow for an earlier visit due to the rush of middle, and high school students. Look for the permission slip next week. Eric and Emily
