Enrollment

Ridgeline Montessori is open to all families who desire a Montessori education for their children. Before visiting the school or enrolling children at Ridgeline, parents are required to attend a meeting describing Montessori elementary education and the critical role of parents in helping the school succeed.

To find out the dates and times of these informational meetings, please click here or call the main office at (541) 681-9662. These sessions are generally scheduled in March and April, in preparation for the school’s enrollment lottery in mid-April.

To have a child's name entered in the lottery and considered for enrollment, parents need to complete an application for each child they intend to enroll in the upcoming school year. The application must be returned to the school office by the date shown on the application form. Parents must agree that they are familiar with the Montessori method, that their children will be able to participate appropriately in a Montessori classroom, and that they are willing to complete 40 hours of volunteer work for Ridgeline every academic year.

Applications may still be received after the lottery deadline; these names will be added to the end of the waiting list in the order in which they are received. Mid-year applications may be considered at the discretion of the administration.
