Ridgeline Montessori Kindergarten December 3, 2008

On Monday we began illustrating our class booklet of stories. These will go home when completed. The children did well during our Lock Down Drill on Tuesday afternoon. A new sewing project—coasters—will keep us busy for a while. We are reading My Father’s Dragon by Ruth Stiles Gannett. Our sound-of-the-week is /f/. We are looking forward to our visit to the Natural History and Cultural Museum on Thursday. Friday’s sharing is free choice.

Next week we will read “The Nutcracker” in anticipation of attending the performance here at school on Thursday, December 11 at 1:15. Also, we will be doing some holiday baking.
