Job Title:                      Bookkeeper

Part-Time

Job Description:          Summary:  The bookkeeper will process payroll, purchase orders, accounts payable and accounts receivable.  He/She will be responsible for financial reporting and record keeping.  Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:            

·         Three years of bookkeeping, accounting and clerical work which has included training and experience in the application of bookkeeping and general accounting methods.

·         Experience using Quickbooks, Excel and Word

·         Experience with non-profit organization preferred

·         Experience with the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System preferred

·         High School diploma or equivalent

Ridgeline Montessori Public Charter School, in beautiful Eugene, Oregon, opened in the fall of 2000.  We have grown gradually, adding one to two classrooms each year.  230 students in K-8 are currently served in nine classrooms. We are seeking a part-time bookkeeper.

The city of Eugene welcomes diversity and is rich with culture.  It is home to the University of Oregon, Northwest Christian College and Lane Community College.  Outdoor activities abound in and near Eugene.  The Willamette River runs through the heart of the city with extensive bike paths along the banks.  The coast and mountains are nearby.
