NO SCHOOL FRIDAY:
Friday, June 11, is Grading Day. No school for students.
A SUMMER HOME FOR MIMI:
Our classroom guinea pig, Mimi, needs a home for the summer. If you would like to care for her, please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks.
WATERING FOR THE SUMMER:
We need some volunteers willing to come to school and water our garden beds this summer. There is a faucet outside along with hose and nozzle. If you can help for a week or two please let me know and we’ll set up a schedule. Thanks so much.
HAWAIIANA:
Early Hawaiians had no written language and passed down geneology and stories through storytelling and dance. The early Hawaiians believed in gods and goddesses of nature. King Kamehameha is famous for unifying the Islands of Hawaii in 1810.
END-OF-YEAR PICNIC, BOOK EXCHANGE AND CRAFT FAIR:
Please come to this fun community event, on June 10th at 5:30, Willard Campus. Lemonade will be sold and, as a special treat, our choir will perform at 6:30!
RACE AND ETHNICITY FORM:
Please complete and return the “Race and Ethnicity” forms that were sent home. These forms are federally mandated and now overdue! Return them as soon as possible. If you have questions, call the Ridgeline office: 541-681-9662.
STUDENT SUPPLY FEE DUE:
Ridgeline Administration has asked teachers to remind families that next year’s $75 supply fee is past due. If payment of this fee presents a challenge, payment arrangements can be made by calling or stopping by the Ridgeline office. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
8TH GRADE GRADUATION
will take place Tuesday, June 15, 1:30-2:30 in the Willard cafeteria. The entire Ridgeline Student Body will attend the graduation and all will dismiss from Willard at 3:00. Your kindness and patience in the parking lot is much appreciated.
